This exceptional Brut Metodo Classico Trento DOC sparkling wine produced by the Abate Nero winery is a true gem of Italian winemaking. Firmly rooted in the prestigious tradition of Trento DOC wines, this sparkling wine is the result of meticulous selection of the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Nero grapes, grown in the vineyards located in the idyllic mountainous areas of Trentino.

With a bright straw-yellow color and slight greenish reflections, the Domini by Abate Nero offers a persistent mousse and a fine, continuous perlage that enchants the eye. The nose is seduced by delicate notes of fresh bread, green apple, and citrus, which intermingle with nuances of almond and white flowers, highlighting the complexity and elegance of the bouquet.

On the palate, freshness prevails, balanced by a pleasant creaminess that fills the palate without weighing it down. Its well-present acidity harmoniously plays with a slight saltiness, leading to a long and clean finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of freshness and purity.

Ideal as an aperitif, this sparkling wine is also an excellent companion for light appetizers, dishes based on fish or seafood. Its versatility makes it perfect for any occasion, from the most formal toast to a serene gathering among friends.

Producing a Metodo Classico in Trentino means following strict protocols of fermentation and maturation in the bottle, and the Abate Nero winery makes no exceptions, respecting the long rest on the yeast for at least 36 months, which gives this sparkling wine a distinctive character and undeniable refinement.

Tasting the Brut Metodo Classico Trento DOC sparkling wine by Abate Nero means immersing oneself in a high-quality beverage that expresses the best of the Trentino terroir, celebrated worldwide for its excellent sparkling wines. A prestigious addition to any wine list that aims to offer unique and unforgettable sensory experiences.

Winery history
Founded in the early 1970s by a group of enthusiasts including oenologist Luciano Lunelli, the winery takes its name from the image of the monk associated with the history of sparkling wine. The first cuvée dates back to the 1970s, and since then the winery has established itself in the Trentodoc scene thanks to a production focused on Traditional Method sparkling wines and growth based on quality-driven choices and extended aging.
Production philosophy
Artisanal production with careful attention at every stage of the traditional method: grape selection, meticulous cellar work and long periods of aging on the lees. The approach emphasizes the terroir of Trentino, focusing on elegance, finesse of the perlage and consistent quality rather than on large volumes.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the hills between Trento and Lavis, in the mountainous and hilly landscape typical of Trentino. Traditional practices such as the pergola trentina are used in some parcels, and the grapes come from the most suitable areas of the DOC Trento.
Awards and recognitions
Numerous national accolades; the official website lists, among other awards and mentions, the inclusion of Cuvée dell'Abate Riserva 2004 among the best sparkling wines and several awards granted to the estate's wines in recent years.
