The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG produced by Poggio Landi winery is a wine of great prestige, known for its elegance and depth. This wine hails from the renowned region of Montalcino in Tuscany, where the climate and soil perfectly combine to yield excellent quality Sangiovese grapes.

The grapes selected for Brunello di Montalcino Riserva are meticulously harvested and then undergo a rigorous fermentation process. This is followed by an aging period that extends for at least five years, with at least four years in oak barrels. This lengthy process imparts a complex structure and distinctive character to the wine.

On the nose, the Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Poggio Landi presents an intense bouquet rich with aromas of ripe red fruits, nuances of spices like tobacco, and light chocolate notes. On the palate, the wine is vigorous yet harmonious, with a well-integrated tannin texture and a long persistence that invites another sip.

Recommended to accompany rich dishes such as meat roasts, game, and aged cheeses, this wine is best expressed when opened a few hours before consumption, allowing all its aromas to fully unfold.

The Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Poggio Landi winery represents an excellent choice for enthusiasts of structured and deep wines, guaranteeing a rich and unforgettable tasting experience. A true gem of Italian viticulture that deserves an honored place in every collector's cellar.

Region: Toscana
Country: Italia
Grapes: Sangiovese (Sangiovese Grosso)
Approximately 60 hectares of vineyards, part of which is dedicated to Brunello. Wines made from Sangiovese grosso: Brunello di Montalcino, Brunello Riserva, Rosso di Montalcino and the cru "Chiuso del Lupo". Vineyards located between 175 and 550 m above sea level, with varied exposures and soils that ensure a diversity of sensory profiles. Management declared as organic-certified, with an approach designed to respect the terroir. Part of the ABFV project, along with other Tuscan estates.
Winery history
Poggio Landi is a wine project located in the Torrenieri area of Montalcino. The estate is part of the Alejandro Bulgheroni Family Vineyards group, which brings together several Tuscan estates. The property has developed facilities including Villa Belvedere, the winery and a wine shop with a panoramic terrace, combining production with wine tourism hospitality.
Production philosophy
Production aims to enhance the territory and the biodiversity of the different exposures: wines with character that favor Sangiovese grosso, certified organic practices and winemaking techniques focused on expressing the cru.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the north‑eastern part of the Montalcino area, the estate harvests grapes from vineyards situated at approximately 175 to 550 metres above sea level. Soils are predominantly clayey; the variation in altitude and exposure is one of the factors used to obtain different Sangiovese profiles.
