The Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG Riserva from Monte Zovo winery is a red wine of unmistakable intensity and prestige, embodying the excellence of Venetian viticulture. Mainly produced from Corvina, Rondinella, and Oseleta grapes, this Amarone is distinguished by a meticulously controlled production process, which begins with a manual selection of the grapes and continues with a drying period of about 120 days.

The color is a deep garnet red with nearly black reflections, promising a complex and robust structure. On the nose, notes of ripe red fruits immediately emerge, enriched by nuances of spices, dark chocolate, and a slight hint of tobacco, contributing to a captivating and persistent aromatic bouquet.

On the palate, Monte Zovo's Amarone Riserva surprises with its richness: the palate is enveloped by a velvety texture that skillfully integrates alcohol and acidity, balancing the power of the tannins with a surprising softness. Flavors of ripe cherry, dried plum, and spices warm the palate, evolving toward a long and intensely pleasant finish.

Perfect for pairing with rich dishes like braised meats, stews, and aged cheeses, this Amarone is also an excellent meditation companion, to be enjoyed slowly to appreciate every nuance. A preliminary opening is recommended to allow the wine to express all its qualities, making the tasting experience even more rewarding.

This Riserva represents an ideal choice for collectors and enthusiasts who wish to enrich their cellar with a wine of great character and longevity. Its stature and complex profile make it suitable for long aging, promising an evolution that could surprise even after many years of storage.
