Brunello di Montalcino DOCG - Pianrosso di Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona is a wine that embodies the excellence and uniqueness of the Montalcino area, one of the most prestigious wine terroirs in Italy. Located in southern Tuscany, Tenuta Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona is renowned for producing wines that reflect its deep connection to the land and commitment to creating Brunello of the highest caliber.

The "Pianrosso" selection stands out within the estate's production for coming from a single vineyard of the same name, considered among the most representative for the cultivation of Sangiovese. This vineyard is known for its soil rich in minerals and its optimal position, which ensure perfect ripening of the grapes, essential for obtaining a Brunello of extraordinary complexity and longevity.

Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso is produced following traditional methods, with a long fermentation and subsequent maturation in large oak barrels for at least two years, followed by further refinement in the bottle. This process gives the wine an elegant tannic structure and an aromatic richness that develops and refines over time.

Visually, the wine has an intense ruby red color, with garnet reflections that become more accentuated with aging. On the nose, Brunello Pianrosso offers a complex and enveloping aroma, with notes of ripe red fruits, spices, leather and tobacco, enriched with balsamic and mineral nuances that testify to the uniqueness of its terroir.

In the mouth, the wine is powerful but harmonious, with a perfect integration between the aromatic richness, the silky tannins and a lively acidity that contributes to a notable freshness and gustatory persistence. The complexity of the flavors and the elegance of the finish make Brunello di Montalcino Pianrosso an emblematic example of Sangiovese's ability to express depth and nobility.

Ideal in combination with rich and structured dishes, such as grilled red meats, roasts, game and mature cheeses, this Brunello represents an excellent choice for special occasions or as part of a collection of wines intended for ageing.
