The Rosso Toscana IGT "Le Pergole Torte" produced by Montevertine is a wine that captures the essence of Tuscany encapsulated in a glass. This prestigious red wine is primarily made using carefully selected Sangiovese grapes from the best vineyards of the Montevertine estate, located in the heart of the Chianti region.

The winemaking follows traditional methods that respect the ancient Tuscan terroir, maximizing the natural characteristics of the grapes. The maturation process takes place in oak barrels, which impart a complex and well-balanced structure to the wine. After aging, "Le Pergole Torte" undergoes additional refinement in the bottle that enhances its roundness and aromatic bouquet.

Visually, the wine exhibits a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections that appear as it ages. The nose releases intense notes of ripe red fruits mixed with nuances of spices, leather, and tobacco. On the palate, the wine is rich and enveloping, with an excellent concentration of flavors that reflect the olfactory aroma. The tannins are soft yet persistent, and the well-balanced acidity contributes to a long and enjoyable finish.

"Le Pergole Torte" by Montevertine is an ideal choice to pair with flavorful dishes such as roasted red meats, game, and aged cheeses. A wine for contemplation, it evolves wonderfully over the years, promising a unique tasting experience that reflects the richness and passion of Tuscan wine culture.
