The aging takes place in oak barrels, which give the wine an extraordinary aromatic complexity, with notes of withered rose, sweet spices, and licorice, wrapped in an elegant and vigorous tannic structure. On the palate it is intense and refined, with good persistence that brings out earthy and fruity notes.
