Capellanía Reserva Bianco from Marqués de Murrieta is a stunning and distinctive white wine, produced in the renowned Rioja wine region of Spain. This wine represents the excellence and innovation of Marqués de Murrieta, one of the oldest and most esteemed wineries in Rioja, known for its superb quality wines that express the richness and complexity of the terroir.

Capellanía is made exclusively with Viura (Macabeo) grapes, harvested from a single vineyard planted in 1945, located in upper Rioja. This privileged location, at a high altitude, allows the grapes to ripen slowly, preserving acidity and developing a broad spectrum of aromas. The limited production of this wine emphasizes the artisanal approach and dedication to quality that characterize Marqués de Murrieta.

After harvesting, the grapes undergo fermentation in stainless steel, followed by aging for 15 months in new French oak barriques. This process not only gives the wine remarkable structure and complexity, but also integrates delicate vanilla and spice aromas, while maintaining the freshness and vibrancy of the fruit.

Visually, Capellanía has an intense straw yellow color, with golden reflections. On the nose, it opens with a rich and complex bouquet, where notes of white pulp fruit, flowers, aromatic herbs, vanilla, toasted almonds and a light minerality intertwine. This olfactory complexity invites you to discover an extraordinarily rich and layered palate.

In the mouth, Capellanía surprises with its elegance and depth, offering intense flavors of ripe fruit, toasted accents and a vibrant freshness that balances the opulence of the wine. The texture is creamy, with well-integrated acidity leading to a long and persistent finish, marked by delicious minerality and well-integrated wood notes.

Capellanía Reserva Bianco is a wine that challenges the conventions of white Rioja, offering remarkable aging capacity and potential for evolution that make it ideal for cellar storage. It is an excellent companion for complex and refined dishes, such as fish in creamy sauces, seafood, white meats and mature cheeses.

In conclusion, the Capellanía Reserva Bianco by Marqués de Murrieta is a tribute to the heritage and innovation of the winery, a wine that best expresses the nobility and complexity of the Viura grape, and which represents one of the maximum expressions of the white of Rioja.
