Winery history
This is a family-run estate with roots dating back to 1920, historically linked to the Juby family. Patrick Baudouin revived the business from the late 20th century, raising the estate's profile and initiating the transition to organic farming in the early 2000s. Over the years the estate has become known for its Chenin wines and for viticultural practices that respect the soil and terroir.
Production philosophy
Enhance the terroir through attentive soil management, hand harvesting and artisanal winemaking with extended aging; minimize chemical interventions and promote organic practices to produce wines expressive of their origin, with particular care for Chenin.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located in the Anjou area of the Loire Valley, on soils of schist, sandstone and volcanic ash. The estate works with appellations such as Anjou, Anjou-Villages, Savennières, Coteaux-du-Layon and Quarts-de-Chaume.
