Winery history
The castle site has ancient origins, with parts of the building dating back to the 17th century. Over time the property has served religious and agricultural functions. In recent years management passed to Société Fermière des Grands Crus de France, which has launched initiatives to restore the estate’s quality with the support of external winemaking consultants.
Production philosophy
Production focused on expressing the terroir of Saint-Émilion, with Merlot-dominant red wines; hand-harvested grapes and careful winemaking and ageing processes to achieve structured wines with long ageing potential. The estate also reports environmental management commitments in technical documents.
