The Rosé DOC Maremma Toscana by Tenuta Fertuna is a refined expression of the Tuscan territory, more precisely of the Maremma, a wine-growing area renowned for its wild beauty and its ability to produce wines of character. This rosé embodies Tenuta Fertuna's commitment to producing wines that reflect the elegance, freshness and liveliness of the vines grown in this fertile land, kissed by the sun and ventilated by sea breezes.

Produced mainly from Sangiovese grapes, the Tuscan grape par excellence, Fertuna's Rosé DOC Maremma Toscana is the result of careful winemaking, which begins with a scrupulous selection of the grapes intended for this wine. The short cold maceration of the skins allows the delicate aromas and characteristic color to be extracted, while the controlled temperature fermentation in stainless steel tanks preserves the freshness and fruity aromas of the wine.

At sight, Fertuna rosé presents itself with an elegant pale pink color, which anticipates its delicate and inviting olfactory and gustatory notes. On the nose, fresh aromas of red fruits emerge such as strawberries, cherries and a hint of pomegranate, enriched by delicate floral notes and a subtle minerality that recalls the proximity to the Maremma sea.

In the mouth, the wine is balanced and harmonious, with a pleasant acidity that enhances its freshness and drinkability. Fresh red fruit flavors combine with a light herbaceous and mineral note, leading to a clean and refreshing finish, which invites another sip.

Ideal as an aperitif or paired with light dishes, appetizers, summer salads, fish and seafood dishes, Tenuta Fertuna's Rosé DOC Maremma Toscana is a wine that celebrates the joy and conviviality of the table, offering an experience tasting that is well suited to moments of sharing and relaxation. Its elegance and freshness make it perfect to accompany hot summer days and special outdoor occasions, best representing the quality and winemaking tradition of the Tuscan Maremma.

Winery history
The modern project of Tenuta Fertuna began in the 1990s with the planting of the vineyards in 1997; the property developed on an estate featuring an early 20th-century villa, renovated and also converted into guest accommodation. Over the years the winery has complemented its wine production with wine tourism and dining activities, integrating business management and sustainability principles.
Production philosophy
It combines respect for local tradition with modern technology: plots are chosen based on soil and grape variety, winemaking is carried out plot by plot with temperature control, and aging in tonneaux/barriques. The estate declares an approach to sustainability and practices aimed at reducing its environmental impact.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, the estate sits on galestro and alberese soils and benefits from a Mediterranean microclimate with a strong maritime influence and a pronounced day–night temperature range.
