Produced from the noble indigenous Sicilian grape varieties Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, this red wine is a tribute to the strength and beauty of Europe's most active volcano.
Visually, Cuordilava presents itself with a deep ruby red color with garnet reflections, which upon observation reveals its structure and complexity. On the nose, it astonishes with its harmonious bouquet of ripe red fruits, such as cherry and wild strawberry, enriched with spicy and balsamic notes, typical of its aging in barrique.
On the palate, the impact is elegant and well-balanced, with fine tannins and a vibrant freshness that echoes the lava-based minerality of its soil. The aftertaste is persistent, leaving a pleasant sensation of cleanliness and a long trail of spicy and fruity aromas.
