Tenuta Sant'Antonio Winery

Tenuta Sant’Antonio takes its name in 1989, when the four Castagnedi brothers, who have always been united by their passion for wine, unite the 20 hectares of their father's in Colognola with the Colli, with a new purchase of 30 hectares in the Mezzane area. To date Armando, Massimo, Tiziano and Paolo Castagnedi perfectly manage 100 hectares of vineyards and a modern and super-equipped cellar in Monti Garbi, establishing themselves as one of the largest, best known and most appreciated companies of the great Veronese denomination.

The vineyards of Tenuta Sant’Antonio are located on the hilly part between the valleys of Illasi and Mezzane, at an altitude between 120 and 320 m a.s.l. The soils are composed of sand and silt, with limestone skeleton, the vines are pampered by the breezes that rise from Lake Garda. This perfect union allows to produce fine wines linked to the Valpolicella tradition. Which are distinguished by a perfectly elegant profile, with a refined taste, with a decidedly modern style.

In the cellar we work with the utmost care, with an indisputable enological competence, to produce labels of the highest level, and with a clear character, impeccable. Their story is the usual one of the sons who tread in the footsteps of their father, but the Castagnedi do not want to limit themselves only to the production of wines, but try every day to make wine with an increasingly modern style, albeit producing traditional wines.
