Cantina Terra dei Re differs from other wineries for its spectacular vineyards, and for an ace in the hole, namely the advice of the internationally renowned winemaker Riccardo Cotarella at his side since 2018.

Located on the slopes of Mount Vulture, the ancient volcano of Basilicata behind the lakes of Monticchio, the show that reveals itself offers a green amphitheater set in the woods: seven and a half hectares of vineyards.

One hectare of Aglianico del volture is below the cellar (about 25 m underground); one hectare of Pinot Noir (Calata delle Brecce) located above 800 m a.s.l.

The company was founded in 2000 from an entrepreneurial idea of the Rabasco and Leone families. The winery has adjoining caves dug into the volcanic rock in which the prestigious Aglianico is refined. The owners of the company thought that to go against the tide it was necessary to be very courageous; in this regard they have decided to believe and invest in the qualities of Aglianico.

They let themselves be inspired by the traditions of this land, which made them strong in believing that everything that is done with the heart is still winning. The winery is the result of their work, their collaborators, and all the people who work to achieve a good result.

To this must be added the high quality of the products, which they managed to obtain with determination and attention, also thanks to the people who believed and trusted in this reality.
