Winery history 7 Rows

Originally a small project named for the seven rows of vines that inspired it, 7 Rows grew from a university/collaborative assignment into a project led by Filip Nagy. Production shifted from its origins in Moravia to a current operational base near Devín, close to Bratislava, while maintaining ties with vineyards in Moravia.

Production philosophy

Strong focus on natural wine: spontaneous fermentations, minimal intervention, unfiltered wines and attention to the relationship with nature. On the official website they state a biodynamic approach or that they are transitioning to biodynamics and reject industrial additives.

Terroir and vineyards

They operate mainly in the Malé Karpaty area near Bratislava, with some grapes harvested in Moravia. Their winemaking reflects the territorial and artisanal approach of the Central European region.
