Winery history Alexandre Grimée

Born in the Vallée de la Marne as the grandson of a winegrower, Alexandre Grimée launched his own winemaking project in 2010 starting from the family vineyards. His principal parcels are located in the nearby village of Bonneil, and some vines date from replantings carried out by the previous generation.

Production philosophy

Small-scale production, hand-tended vineyards and adaptation to the conditions of each vintage: respectful practices in the vineyard and limited intervention in the cellar to let the grapes' character express itself. The domaine has begun the transition to organic viticulture, with certification obtained for the 2023 harvest.

Terroir and vineyards

The domaine is located in the western area of Champagne. The main plots are in Bonneil, with favourable exposure and microterroirs that favour Pinot Meunier. There is also a small plot in Romeny-sur-Marne.

Awards and recognitions

Organic certification obtained at the 2023 harvest.
