Winery history Allegrini

The Allegrini family has been established in Valpolicella since the 16th century and led the region’s winemaking revival. Over the years the estate developed thanks to key family figures, who in the 1970s and 1980s introduced emblematic vineyards and practices such as La Grola and La Poja and promoted viticultural innovations in the area.

Production philosophy

Pursuit of quality from estate-owned vineyards, preservation and enhancement of the Valpolicella Classica terroir, attention to winemaking innovation, and respect for the environment in the management of the vineyards and the winery.

Terroir and vineyards

Production is rooted in Valpolicella Classica. Among the best-known vineyards are La Grola, La Poja, Fieramonte, Marezzane, Villa Cavarena and other family-owned plots. The soils are characterized by clay-limestone composition and by microclimates typical of the Veronese hills.
