Winery Avignonesi

A winery founded as a local enterprise in the 1970s and internationally recognized for Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. In recent years, ownership and management have steered the company toward organic and biodynamic farming practices and an impact-driven corporate model. The company has been relaunched and expanded over time through acquisitions and investments dedicated to enhancing the local area and its wines.

Practical, stated commitment to sustainability: soil care, use of biodynamic preparations, fermentations with indigenous yeasts, and an approach that prioritizes biodiversity and reducing its impact. The winery also frames its mission as “being a good ancestor,” with attention to its environmental and social legacy.

The estate's activities are concentrated in the Montepulciano area, with the main estate Le Capezzine. The vineyards extend across the territories of Montepulciano and neighboring areas such as Cortona, expressing the character of the local terroirs.
