Winery history Begali

Begali is a family-run estate rooted in the hamlet of Cengia, in the heart of Valpolicella. Over time the Begali family has developed the production of wines typical of the appellation, bringing their vineyard work and traditional appassimento practices to the bottle. The estate's communications reference grandfather Giordano's efforts and the continuation of the work by subsequent generations, leading to the current family management.

Production philosophy

Artisanal care of the vineyard and winery, with a focus on quality and environmental responsibility: the estate states it adopts integrated production practices and an approach aimed at limiting interventions in the vineyard to enhance the raw material and terroir.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in the hills of the Valpolicella Classica, on the slopes of Castelrotto in the province of Verona, the vineyards and wines express the character of the Veronese region and the area's proximity to Lake Garda.
