Winery history Benjamin Leroux

Benjamin Leroux trained at the Beaune school of oenology and gained international experience. Mid-career he served as régisseur at the renowned Domaine Comte Armand; since 2007 he has run his own business as a négociant/own label, operating from a modern winery in Beaune and building an extensive portfolio of wines by purchasing and vinifying grapes from various crus of the Côte d'Or.

Production philosophy

Pursuit of purity and terroir transparency: Leroux interprets each wine as a reflection of its place and vintage, adopting organic/biodynamic agricultural practices where possible and varying cellar techniques according to the cru and the harvest to preserve the fruit's identity.

Terroir and vineyards

It operates mainly in the Côte d'Or, working with grapes and vineyard parcels from appellations such as Pommard, Meursault, Volnay, Chambolle‑Musigny, Gevrey‑Chambertin and Nuits‑Saint‑Georges, and grand crus such as Corton‑Charlemagne and Bâtard‑Montrachet, in addition to village- and regional-level wines.

Awards and recognitions

Mentioned in some sources as the winner of the "Best Young Talent in Burgundy" award.
