Winery history C. Boggione (Claudio Boggione)

The winery traces its origins to Claudio’s grandfather Antonio, who worked the vineyards in Brunate; management later passed to his uncle Armando, and today it is run by Claudio together with his father Franco. Since 2008 the family has bottled and sold directly the wines produced in their own vineyards in Brunate.

Production philosophy

Low-impact vineyard work, with no use of herbicides and reduced chemical treatments; hand-harvested and manually selected grape bunches. In the cellar, traditional winemaking is favored, with extended skin contact, aging in oak barrels and bottling without filtration.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards located in the Brunate cru; calcareous-clayey soils containing magnesium; southwest exposure; altitude around 300 m above sea level.
