Winery history Campogiovanni

The Campogiovanni estate is part of San Felice’s winemaking project; it was acquired by San Felice in the 1980s and has since been used as the production estate for Campogiovanni-branded Brunello and Rossi di Montalcino.

Production philosophy

Seeking to express the terroir through the cultivation of Sangiovese and cellar practices focused on traditional aging, with the aim of producing wines of classic style, longevity and finesse.

Terroir and vineyards

Vineyards are located on the southern/south‑western slope of the Colle di Montalcino; soils are characterized by sand, silt and calcareous marl; the climate is moderated by proximity to the sea, promoting regular ripening of Sangiovese Grosso.

Awards and recognitions

Notable coverage and ratings in international publications, and appearances in Wine Spectator's Top 100 rankings for certain vintages.
