Winery Cantina di Bertiolo (Cabert)

Founded as "Cantina Sociale del Friuli Centrale," the winery known as Cabert has its origins in Bertiolo and has grown over time through structural and production expansions. Since its establishment by a group of founding members, the winery has increased its production capacity and has progressively introduced logistics services and modern storage facilities. Over the years the winery has also implemented social initiatives and sustainability projects.

The company's philosophy combines respect for the local winemaking tradition with attention to technological innovation. Cabert states that it follows the supply chain from vineyard to bottle, focusing on low environmental-impact practices, the promotion of lower-impact formats and measures to reduce energy-related emissions.

Located in the heart of Friuli‑Venezia Giulia, the winery works with grapes from the plains and the Colli Orientali. The area is characterized by the typical "Grave" soil and by a climate moderated by the Adriatic, with temperature swings that favour the aromatic‑acidic expression of the region’s typical grape varieties.

The winery and its labels have received numerous national and international accolades. Recent highlights include recognitions in Italian guides — for example, Gambero Rosso awarded 2 Bicchieri to Casali Roncali labels — and prizes at competitions such as The WineHunter.
