Winery Cantina Tollo

Founded as a local cooperative to add value to the area's grapes and counter depopulation, Cantina Tollo has grown since its founding in 1960 into a group that includes several wineries. Over time it has paired tradition with investments in winemaking technologies and sustainable practices, expanding its commercial presence to dozens of countries abroad.

The company aims to combine quality and sustainability: continuous improvement of wine quality, a focus on food safety, environmentally friendly agricultural practices and an ethical commitment to its members and the community. It has adopted sustainability standards and developed company-wide organic production.

The vineyards stretch across the hilly area between the slopes of the Maiella and the Adriatic coast. The winery works with grapes sourced mainly from Abruzzo, with additional vineyards in Molise and Puglia, taking advantage of the varied microclimates and soils that characterize the different exposures.
