Winery Cantine Mucci

The Mucci family embodies a winemaking tradition dating back to the late 19th century: great-grandfather Luigi Mucci obtained a diploma in oenology in 1895, and the passion for the vine has been passed down ever since. In the 1980s, grandfather Valentino revived the family business, and in subsequent generations — today led by Aurelia and Valentino Mucci — the winery has expanded its range and markets while maintaining direct management of the vineyards.

An approach based on family continuity, attentive vineyard care and a balance between tradition and innovation; the winery prefers to vinify its own grapes to highlight the character of the terroir.

Vineyards located on the hills of Torino di Sangro, within the Terre di Chieti area of the Abruzzo region.

On its website the winery lists international awards, including Korea Wine Challenge, Japan Wine Challenge, Merano Wine Award and Selections Mondiales des Vins.
