Winery history ColleMassari

Founded in the late 1990s, ColleMassari began its production in the Montecucco area and, over the years, has expanded its scope within the ColleMassari Estates group, which brings together several estates acquired after the initial project. The current winery, carved into the hillside and designed to blend with the landscape, is part of an approach that combines agricultural activity, winemaking and hospitality.

Production philosophy

The estate states an integrated agricultural approach focused on respect for the soil and the landscape: vineyard work is considered the foundation for the winemaking that follows; the winery is designed to minimize environmental impact and to support natural thermal and logistical processes. The group applies principles related to organic farming across its estates, according to the group's official information.

Terroir and vineyards

Montecucco, in the municipality of Cinigiano, province of Grosseto, Tuscany. A territory well suited to Sangiovese, with production of Vermentino and other international varieties in some wines.
