Winery history Conti Serristori

The brand evokes the ancient Florentine noble family Serristori; historical and company sources link the family to the area's agricultural estates since the Renaissance and to the Sant’Andrea in Percussina estate, mentioned in connection with Niccolò Machiavelli. Today the name is used as a brand for typical Tuscan wines under the management of Gruppo Italiano Vini.

Production philosophy

To showcase native grape varieties and historic Tuscan appellations, combining traditional production methods with the social and environmental sustainability criteria promoted by their parent group.

Terroir and vineyards

Operational headquarters and vineyards are located in the locality of Gaggiano, in the municipality of Poggibonsi. The vineyards extend from the heart of the Chianti Classico to the hills surrounding San Gimignano, and there is a cellar dedicated to the winemaking and aging of Vernaccia di San Gimignano.
