Winery Cantina Giovannini

The Giovannini family launched their winemaking project after purchasing the estate in Narni. Renovation work was completed in 2016 and the agritourism 'La Collina Incantata' was opened, simultaneously with the bottling of the first Ciliegiolo releases. In the following years the winery took part in the project called 'Ciliegiolo 2.0' to rethink the grape variety, introduced sparkling wines, and expanded its range of wines between 2020 and 2022.

Central to its approach is the idea of combining respect for local tradition with experimentation: the winery aims to express the character of the terroir through single-varietal wines, with a focus on research and on creating wines that are both ready-to-drink and suitable for aging.

Vineyards located on the gentle hills of Narni, with the cru "Ciliegiolo di Narni" grown at approximately 158 m above sea level. The winery and agritourism are located at Strada dei Colli 17, 05035 Narni.

Featured in the Gambero Rosso Vini d'Italia 2024 guide: the Ciliegiolo was awarded two red glasses; other wines also received recognition in the same guide.
