Winery history Giulio Cocchi

Casa Giulio Cocchi was founded in Asti by the former Florentine pastry chef Giulio Cocchi, who in 1891 began producing aromatized wines and sparkling wines. The company's products soon became known beyond the local area thanks to a commercial network and tasting venues. Since 1978 the estate has been owned by the Bava family, who have modernized the processes while preserving the artisanal character and historic recipes.

Production philosophy

Preserving original recipes and artisanal execution, together with a continuous pursuit of quality: Piedmontese sparkling and aromatized wines crafted with ingredients and methods that enhance the products' territorial and botanical identity.

Terroir and vineyards

Based and producing in the Asti area, with a strong connection to Piedmontese winemaking tradition and to the use of local grapes such as Moscato and Brachetto, as well as Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for the sparkling wines.

Awards and recognitions

Among the accolades mentioned by the company: Storico Vermouth di Torino Best Bartender's Award 2014; mentions and scores for the Alta Langa cuvées.
