Winery history La Vrille

The estate grew out of the viticultural work of Hervé Deguillame: the family had been cultivating vineyards for years, and the first documented winemaking dates back to 2005. Over time La Vrille has developed its production and hospitality while retaining an artisanal character.

Production philosophy

The approach is centered on vineyard care and respect for natural rhythms: manual work, minimal interventions in the field, and winemaking that follows natural processes to express the grapes' territorial character.

Terroir and vineyards

Located in Verrayes in the Aosta Valley, the vineyards are set in a natural amphitheatre facing south/southeast; the area is part of the DOC Vallée d'Aoste and practices the region's typical heroic viticulture.

Awards and recognitions

The Chambave Muscat Flétri from La Vrille has received recognition from industry guides and publications, including the "Tre Bicchieri" award from Gambero Rosso and notable ratings in Bibenda and other wine guides cited by the winery.
