Winery history Leclaire-Thiefaine

The Leclaire family has been established in the Côte des Blancs since 1878. The current name derives from the union of Reynald Leclaire and Virginie Thiefaine in 1991. The estate has been passed down through generations and today remains family-owned, with the new generation contributing to the evolution of the cuvées and the winemaking style.

Production philosophy

Production focused on showcasing the terroir of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, with an approach that blends respect for the Champenoise tradition and experimentation with new winemaking expressions. Vineyard work and grape selection aim to produce elegant, fresh bottles characterized by the purity of the grape variety.

Terroir and vineyards

Côte des Blancs, with vineyards located in the area's recognized crus; the grapes come from selected parcels that reflect the region's limestone character.
