Winery Paolo Scavino

The winery dates back to the first half of the twentieth century and is traditionally associated with the Scavino family; sources report its founding in 1921 in Castiglione Falletto by Lorenzo Scavino and his son Paolo. Over the generations the business has increasingly focused on grape quality and on producing single-cru wines, with Enrico Scavino consolidating the winery’s reputation, notably through the establishment of Barolo Bric dël Fiasc as a flagship label.

The production approach prioritizes the expression of the terroir: the winery primarily uses grapes from its own vineyards, works each parcel separately to preserve the characteristics of each cru, and adopts cellar practices aimed at preserving the purity and elegance of Nebbiolo, integrating modern techniques with a sensitivity to more traditional methods.

Based in Castiglione Falletto. Estate-owned vineyards are located across numerous historic Barolo crus, with parcels in communes such as Castiglione Falletto, La Morra, Novello, Serralunga d'Alba, Verduno and Roddi.
