Winery history Produttori del Barbaresco

Its roots go back to the first cooperative initiative of 1894 promoted by Domizio Cavazza. The modern cooperative was founded in 1958 thanks to Don Fiorino Marengo, who brought together small local winegrowers to promote Barbaresco. Over time the winery has grown to become a reference point for the appellation, while retaining the collective vinification of the grapes delivered by its members.

Production philosophy

Single-varietal: they produce only Nebbiolo from the members' vineyards. They favor a fruit-respecting approach and a minimally invasive, 'hands-off' cellar practice, with long macerations and aging in large casks to showcase the terroir and the differences between the crus.

Terroir and vineyards

They operate in the Barbaresco area, showcasing the historic crus of the municipality and the surrounding hills. Among the crus they work with are Asili, Montefico, Montestefano, Muncagota, Ovello, Pajè, Pora, Rabajà and Rio Sordo.
