The winery began as a family enterprise tied to Valpolicella Classica. Giuseppe Quintarelli brought the winery to international recognition thanks to the artisanal care in winemaking and the rigorous selection of grapes. Production has remained family-run over the years, and Bepi’s work is widely cited as the cornerstone of the winery’s reputation.

Traditional method based on manual grape selection, the appassimento used for styles such as Amarone and Recioto, and a cautious quality policy that, in some cases, leads to downgrading wines when they are not deemed worthy of the top label. Strong focus on tradition and on the territorial character of the wines.

The winery is rooted in the classic Valpolicella zone, in the Negrar/Verona area, an area known for its indigenous grape varieties and for the appassimento techniques employed in typical local productions.
