Winery Saint & Scholar

Saint & Scholar was launched as a project led by winemakers Stephen Dew and Reid Bosward. The brand is presented as a collaborative effort between the two, producing wines from grapes grown in the Gumeracha vineyard in the Adelaide Hills; these wines are also distributed through retailers and an online shop affiliated with the brand.

The project puts the production site at its heart: hillside vineyards, favorable exposure and the relatively cool climate of the Adelaide Hills to achieve expressive, consistent wines. Production combines a focus on fruit with winemaking practices aimed at preserving freshness and the character of the territory, including traditional methods for the sparkling cuvées.

Vineyard located in the Gumeracha area, Adelaide Hills. The site is described as hilly, north-facing and well-drained, with a relatively cool climate compared to other Australian regions.
