Winery Sauvion

The Sauvion family is linked to Château du Cléray, a historic estate located in Vallet. The château and the family's business have borne the Sauvion name since the 20th century; sources report that the estate was acquired by Ernest Sauvion in 1935 and, since then, the property has become the centre of Maison Sauvion's commercial and winemaking activity.

Sauvion adopts a terroir-driven approach and selects the finest parcels, aiming to express character, finesse and elegance in its wines. The house combines traditional winemaking practices with promoting its wines internationally.

Operating in the Loire Valley, with established headquarters and operations at Château du Cléray, it maintains a commercial and production presence that includes wines labeled under Loire appellations such as Vouvray and Sancerre.
