Winery history Terre Stregate

The Iacobucci family has farmed the land in the area for generations: various sources trace the historical origins to the founder Filippo Iacobucci and indicate phases of interruption and subsequent revivals of winemaking between the end of the 20th century and the early 2000s. The transformation and strengthening of the winemaking activity are described as a gradual process. Several sources also report production estimates on the order of about 120,000–130,000 bottles per year.

Production philosophy

The winery states an approach rooted in the memory of the territory and in enhancing the indigenous grape varieties of Sannio: respecting ripening times, using modern cellar technologies, and caring for the identity of its labels to convey the connection between land, history and tradition.

Terroir and vineyards
