Winery history Torre dei Beati

The name derives from a detail of a 15th-century fresco in the church of Santa Maria in Piano. The estate, led by Adriana Galasso and Fausto Albanesi, was founded in 1999 when it took over the family vineyard; the first bottle dates from 2000. Over time the property has expanded, adding a barrel cellar and a production facility, while maintaining winemaking exclusively with grapes from its own vineyards.

Production philosophy

Production focused on organic practices and respect for the land: certified agronomic practices, rigorous selection of grapes in the vineyard and in the cellar, and winemaking that combines traditional methods and technology in service of the fruit’s authenticity, with minimal use of preservatives.

Terroir and vineyards

The vineyards are located in Loreto Aprutino, on clay‑limestone soils at elevations of 250–300 meters, approximately 25 km from the Adriatic coast. The site benefits from daytime sea breezes and nighttime temperature swings due to the proximity of the Gran Sasso.

Awards and recognitions

Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo 2018 — Rosé of the Year; the Montepulciano "Mazzamurello" was listed among the best regional wines.
