Winery history Vigna Rocca

Vigna Rocca is produced by Tre Monti and was born as a selection of grapes from the Petrignone estate. Tre Monti is a family-run winery rooted in the Imola and Forlì area, with long experience in promoting Albana and winemaking experiments documented in the company's records.

Production philosophy

The approach prioritizes organic cultivation and practices designed to express the vineyard's character: careful vineyard management, hand harvesting, and vinification that favors maceration in stainless steel to extract aromatic profiles specific to Albana.

Terroir and vineyards

The wine comes from Vigna della Rocca, part of the Petrignone estate in the municipality of Forlì. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone soils at approximately 150 m above sea level and are trained using the "capovolto" system.

Awards and recognitions

Accolades and scores for the 2020 vintage include: Wine Enthusiast 92/100, Vinous 91/100, Guida Oro Veronelli 93/100, as well as positive reviews from Jancis Robinson, Gambero Rosso and AIS.
