Bonaventura Maschio Distillery
The history of the prestigious Bonaventura Maschio Distillery originates in Veneto between the peaks of Monte Grappa and the banks of the Brenta, and even more precisely in Cismon del Grappa where, towards the end of the nineteenth century, the Maschio family cultivates the land and distils grappa with the cart of stills. In the following years the family moved, moving to Hungary and Romania; he will return to Italy after several years, always with his own stills wagon in tow, a sign of their inseparable and indisputable family tradition.
So it was that on his return, Antonio Maschio founded the company; it was followed by his nephew Bonaventura in the early twentieth century, who gave the distillery a strong entrepreneurial imprint on the art of distillation. At the end of the 1980s, the company took a great turn with the birth and introduction on the market of the Prime Uve grape distillate.
With passion, enthusiasm, but also rigor, discipline, method in research and work, and an attentive look to the future, each generation of the Maschio-Bonaventura family has dedicated a large part of their life to the art of distillation for the production of quality, unique and known all over the world today.
