Poli Distillery

On the Asiago plateau, in the late Middle Ages, the story of the Poli family of Schiavon begins, which is also the story of many Venetian families who, towards the end of the nineteenth century, with the hope of starting a productive and commercial activity, went down in the plain.

Over the centuries the Poles have moved three times, up to Schiavon, where they still reside today; they have carried out various professions, they are in fact were shepherds, hatters, hosts and finally distillers. They therefore changed the type of goods produced and their marketing: from cheese to straw hats, to wine, and finally to Grappa.

Over time they have come a long way and changed routes and objectives several times, but thowever, they never changed their values. Their roots are based on honor for the family, respect for their customers and for the things they produce, a sense of duty and responsibility; principles that still guide the Poli brand today.
