The Shed Distillery was born in Ireland from the dream of P.J. Rogney to build an absolutely one-of-a-kind distillery. The adventure began with the search for a unique and particular place, an unspoiled area characterized by a natural and intact landscape, but also rich in history and ancient traditions. After careful research, the choice fell on the small village of Drumshanbo, a developed village on the banks of the Lough Allen River, on the slopes of the peaks of Iron Mountain.

The desire for authenticity, directed P.J. Rogney to move towards a production plant, which best expresses the ancient customs of the territory, planting five traditional copper pot stills and two column stills, which guarantee a production of great Gin and Whiskey, particularly refined.

In addition to an extraordinary location, careful and traditional distillation processes, the excellence of the labels produced by Shed Distillery depends on the excellent choice of using very good quality cereals. With regard to botanicals, the original wild herbs of the Irish flora are used, with the addition of special herbs and spices from the East. The result is a truly unique product, which authentically expresses the character of the territory.

It is a label that goes out of the ordinary standards, and that often leads Gin towards a standardization of taste. The version of the Shed Distillery, is a Gin with a more authentic and true character, and is made with: gunpowder tea, chinese lemon, angelica root, oriental grapefruit, kaffir lime, star anise, caraway seed, coriander seed, orris root, cardamom, juniper berries, meadowsweet.

A skilful mix of perfumes and aromas, which gives the distillate an extraordinary harmony, and a great balance, which adds to the classic balsamic notes, the personal touch of careful research, carried out by a high quality distillery.
