Production method
Production based on traditional methods: stainless steel mash tun, wooden washbacks and distillation in copper pot stills. Water comes from local springs, and the spirit is then matured in American oak (ex-bourbon) and Spanish oak (ex-sherry) casks in stone dunnage warehouses.

Producer history anCnoc
anCnoc whisky is linked to the Knockdhu Distillery, which began operations at the end of the 19th century. Located near Knock Hill (from which the brand takes its name; anCnoc in Gaelic means “the hill”), the distillery has gone through several phases, including acquisition by Inver House in 1988. In recent years the brand has been relaunched and expanded with a modern range that includes peated expressions and sherry finishes.
