Producer history Aultmore
Aultmore was built at the end of the 19th century by Alexander Edward and first production is recorded in 1897. During the 20th century the site passed through various owners and entered the John Dewar & Sons family; since 1998 Aultmore has been controlled by the Bacardi group via John Dewar & Sons. In recent years the site has received investments to expand and modernize its facilities.

Aultmore is regarded as a malt of integrity, with a fresh, clean profile linked to the quality of its local waters. In the company's portfolio the distillery plays a dual role: supplying quality malt for blending and showcasing single malt expressions aimed at the premium and travel retail markets.
