Producer history Barbieri

The origin dates back to the company Fratelli Barbieri, founded in Padua at the end of the 19th century. Brothers Luigi and Silvio Barbieri developed and presented Aperol in 1919, a product that became the most famous linked to their name. During the 20th century the company was sold and the brands passed through various owners; with the acquisition of the Barbero 1891 portfolio the brand entered the Campari group in 2003. The Punch Barbieri brand was sold by the Campari Group to Distillerie Moccia in 2013. The contemporary use of the Barbieri name appears across several commercial references (aperitifs, bitter, punch) on the market.
