Located close to Port Askaig, the distillery developed alongside the local community and is recognised as one of Islay’s oldest establishments.

Production philosophy

The distillery emphasizes selected ingredients and traditional methods: local spring water (Margadale), quality malt and a strong focus on oak cask maturation. Its stated philosophy aims to preserve the authentic character of the single malt without cold filtration and without added colouring, producing rich, complex spirits with a maritime influence.
