Production method
Fundador declares direct control of the distillation of holandas and aguardientes at its own facilities; the distillates are then aged using the traditional Criaderas y Soleras system typical of the Marco de Jerez and in a selection of sherry casks.

Producer history Fundador
The house's origins trace back to Bodegas Fundador, documented as early as 1730 in the Marco de Jerez. The first brandy marketed under the name Fundador is attributed to Pedro Domecq Loustau in 1874. Throughout its history the brand was linked to the Domecq family; in 2016 the activities were acquired by Grupo Emperador Spain S.A. (Emperador Group).
