Production method

For the gin: recipe built on nine botanicals and London Dry method; 'one-shot' distillation declared on a 200 L Mueller still at Liquorificio Italia (Trieste). For the La7Vidas tequila: distillation and processing typical of the Los Altos de Jalisco area (Mexico) with bottling under the J.Rose brand; the Reposado version matures in French oak barrique (commercial follow-up).

Distillation

Gin: London Dry, one-shot distillation declared on a 200 L Mueller still (production at Liquorificio Italia). Tequila: typical production of Los Altos de Jalisco, with subsequent bottling for the brand.

Ageing

For the La7Vidas Reposado line: maturation indicated approximately 6 months in French oak barrique (Reposado version). Gin and amaro: no aging procedure reported.

Producer history J.Rose

The J.Rose project was born from the idea of Dario Roselli, owner of the Affreschi & Affreschi atelier. The initiative started with personalized bottles offered as gifts (reported from the 2021 holidays) and later developed into a commercial collection of gin, amaros and tequila. The brand is created and distributed by Affreschi & Affreschi Srl based in Minervino di Lecce (Puglia); for J.Rose gin production a collaboration was set up with Liquorificio Italia (Trieste) for small-scale distillation. The tequila line (La7Vidas) is instead linked to 100% agave distillates sourced from Mexico and packaged/bottled under the brand's portfolio.

Production philosophy

To combine art, craftsmanship and distillation: bottles are conceived as art objects (labels made with a compound based on Carrara marble and travertine and illustrations by artists) while the recipes aim for a refined sensory profile suitable both for mixing and tasting.
