Project announced in 2007; construction began autumn 2007; first spirit runs in 2009; official opening autumn 2010. For many years production mainly supplied blends; the first official Roseisle single malt bottlings appeared in Diageo Special Releases (initially 2023, followed by a 12-year release in the Special Releases 2024).

Production philosophy

Facility designed for large-scale production with emphasis on efficiency and sustainability (including on-site renewable energy and recycling practices). A technologically advanced site enabling multiple new-make profiles via differing fermentation regimes and condenser systems; reported production capacity around 10 million litres per year.
