Produced as liquid sourced, the core version is described as triple distilled in copper pot stills from 100% malted barley, then matured in ex-Oloroso casks (first/second/third-fill) and finally bottled at 40% ABV. The base expression is NAS but communications indicate it rested for about four years; there are also age-stated releases (e.g. 11 years for GTR).

Producer history Sexton

The Sexton was launched by Proximo Spirits in 2017 with the aim of offering a modern, accessible Irish single malt. The brand was developed under the supervision of Master Blender Alex Thomas. Sources indicate that the spirit used for the brand's expressions was produced at the Old Bushmills Distillery (North Coast of Ireland). Over the years The Sexton has expanded its range with expressions dedicated to the Global Travel Retail channel, including age-stated releases.
