The story
Founded in 1988 by Andrew Symington and his brother, Signatory Vintage grew rapidly thanks to single cask releases and refined selections. In 2002 Andrew Symington acquired the Edradour distillery and moved many operations there, later developing warehousing and production capacity linked to the Pitlochry site.
Production philosophy
The company's philosophy favors transparency and the individuality of the cask: every barrel is assessed and bottled to showcase its unique profile, with particular attention to single malt expressions, often non chill-filtered and bottled at cask strength when appropriate.
